This is a public tender for Jefferson Elementary School Playground Improvements by the Douglas County School District **** Omaha Public Schools. Bids must be submitted by May 7, 2026, 2:00 PM CT. The district reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive any technicalities and irregularities. The bid will only be awarded to one bidder, based on the district's determination of its best interests.
The district requires that the contractor have a minimum of five years of experience with playground installation. Contractors and their personnel must be duly licensed by the city of Omaha for mechanical and electrical installation work. All work must be done in accordance with best trade practices using qualified workers.
If the contractor fails to achieve substantial completion by the specified date, they shall pay liquidated damages of **** per day. Failure to comply with contract provisions can lead to termination and the contractor being responsible for additional costs incurred by the district.
