Wheelchair Transportation Government Bids & RFPs

Bids must be delivered no later than 1:00 PM on June 15, 2026.

Payment will be required for title transfer. Payment will be made only after correct presentation of claim forms or invoices are obtained from the ordering school district.

All items supplied must carry a manufacturer's standard warranty. The successful bidder must guarantee the merchandise for at least one year from the date of delivery.

Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder, considering reliability, quality, conformity with specifications, purpose, and delivery terms.

Bidders must provide employee certifications and documentation evidencing their experience as required by the specifications.

If the successful bidder fails to deliver or take replacement of rejected articles, the district may purchase from other sources and the bidder agrees to reimburse the district for excess costs.

There is no expressed or implied obligation for the district to reimburse responding bidders for any expense incurred in preparing bids, or responding to this bid in any way, including but not limited to, any site visitation.

The school district reserves the right to request a representative sample of the item quoted upon either prior to the award or before shipments are made.

A bidder may be disqualified from receiving awards if such bidder or anyone in his employ has previously failed to perform satisfactorily in connection with public bidding or contracts.

The contract period is from 07/01/2026 through 06/30/2031.

Payments will be made in arrears upon receipt of a properly prepared invoice, submitted electronically through Vetride or its successor system.

The government intends to evaluate quotes and make award without exchanges, encouraging quoters to submit their best terms initially.

Quoters shall demonstrate a minimum of three years experience providing non-emergency medical transportation services to medical patients.

The government reserves the right to cancel any patient pickup due to late contractor response time (defined as 30 minutes after the specified pickup time) at no additional cost to the government. The contractor may be responsible for all additional costs incurred by the government if another firm is utilized.

A site visit is scheduled for Thursday, May 21st, at 10 am local time. All interested parties are to meet at building 1, room number ****.

Failure to comply with vehicle standards or receiving two or more unsatisfactory findings within a five-day period may result in the vehicle being removed from service. Drivers accumulating five unrelated, substantiated complaints in a 12-month period shall be prohibited from providing services.

The maximum contract ceiling is $9,000,**** for the five-year ordering period.

Proposals are due by June 15, 2026, at 3:30 PM.

Payment terms shall be net 30 days upon receipt and acceptance of a proper invoice. Invoices shall be submitted monthly in arrears following completion of the scheduled maintenance services.

Full service maintenance includes all routine labor and standard replacement parts, with exclusions for acts of force majeure, misuse, vandalism, or negligence.

Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror.

Offerors must demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience maintaining comparable elevator systems, relevant training and certifications, and provide at least three references for comparable projects within the last five years.

Failure to meet response time requirements for emergency callbacks may be considered contractor non-performance.

Late offers may be rejected. The government reserves the right to deny access to any contractor personnel for security or operational reasons.
