Responses must be received by May 6, 2025, 2:00 PM CST. The Office of State Procurement is inviting bids for an online boat motor installation. Bidders must be registered in the lagov system. A W9 form is required for newly registered vendors. All attachments must be printed and reviewed. The bid includes special terms and conditions, online bidding instructions, and bid delivery instructions. The state intends to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting the specifications. The solicitation is proprietary, and only specified brands and models will be considered. Bid prices must include delivery F. O. B. destination. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice or delivery. The vendor must be within 60 driving miles of the LDFW Lafayette Region 200 Dulles Drive, Lafayette, LA 70506. The bid must specify brand, model, model year, engine, engine warranty, engine displacement, weather resistant wiring harness, high-capacity fuel pump, alternator, high RPM rev limiter, long shaft model, floating tiller steering arm, gear-driven lower unit, full power reverse, 180-degree rotation of lower unit assembly, auto reverse, instant forward and neutral, momentary forward button, tachometer, hour meter, hydraulic power trim, aluminum and stainless steel construction, spine propeller shaft accommodating 2-blade propeller, gen 4 lower unit 1. 5 to 1 gear reduction, and stainless steel muffler. The vendor must be an authorized parts and repair vendor and must install factory rigging, fuel lines, and wiring. The motor must be mounted to a Prodrive XSeries boat. The boat will be dropped off and picked up by LDFW.

This solicitation is for the furnishing of a limiter, electrical. Proposals must be submitted via email by the due date specified on page 1, block 10. Government source approval is required prior to award. Offerors who are not approved sources must submit the information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS source approval brochure. Offers failing to provide all required data will not be considered. Evaluation of source approval requests may not be completed in time, or approval requirements may preclude obtaining the items in time to meet government requirements. Award may be continued based on fleet support needs.

The solicitation is for the manufacture of an F-16 electrical limiter (NSN: ****). Military specifications and standards will not be furnished in the bid set. Lead-free solder is a requirement, and contractors must provide written certification of compliance if no lead-free components exist in the manufactured end item. A source qualification request package is required from all other interested contractors. The government reserves the right not to make an award at all.
