Remove stains, mold, and mildew from all exterior brick. Pressure wash the brick. Tuckpoint select areas of existing mortar joints. Remove, clean and reinstall existing cast metal characters on the front of the building. Replace and paint exterior hollow metal doors and frames and associated hardware. Replace selected exterior aluminum windows. Replace selected existing exterior lintels. Provide new backer rod and sealant to all existing exterior brick veneer control joints. Evaluate the existing exterior wall counterflashing to ensure that brick veneer is allowed to weep. Demo the existing mechanical louvers that served the past unit ventilators and infill the opening with masonry, paint.

Quotes must be valid through December 31, 2025. Proposals must be submitted through the solicitation and include a detailed attachment of work to be performed with cost. The project timeline includes working one 8-hour shift Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with 5 working days needed to complete the project. The project will be in cooperation with the O. F. A. schedule after receipt of the purchase order. Proposals and prices are valid for 120 days. Terms are net 30 days billable upon completion. Addendum 1 to RFb **** modifies project drawings (dwg 7 and 8) to include marking curb paint yellow. The bid offer form has been updated to include a new pay item for marking curb paint yellow. The additive alternate 1 bid form has been updated to deduct three items from the base bid. A revised bid offer form is attached. The project manual has been updated. Clarifications on the specification being used are provided. Materials, equipment, and testing procedures that conform to Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) specifications will be accepted as approved equivalents. The addendum includes a preliminary submittal schedule. The contractor shall develop a schedule of submittals and submit it to the owner's representative with the contractor's initial payment application. The addendum also includes details on curb ramps, detectable warning fields, and aggregate base subgrade proof roll. Lead time to begin and complete work is specified. A bid bond is required. Kenosha County is exempt from federal excise and Wisconsin sales taxes.
