The successful bidder shall deliver the vehicle within sixty (60) calendar days of the issuance of a notice of award.

Warranty terms and after-sale support are an evaluation factor, with bidders required to provide a description of their service level agreement (SLA) regarding warranty and support.

Selection and award will be based on a combination of qualifications (30%) and bid price (70%) that represents the most advantageous and best overall value to the city.

Minimum qualifications include being a business entity in good standing in its state of incorporation. Bidders must also provide detailed specifications of equipment, company history, delivery timeline, and warranty/support information.

Bidders may request clarification of any seeming inconsistencies or matters requiring explanation in the bidding documents at least six (6) business days prior to the time set for the opening of bids.

Failure to meet minimum qualifications, providing incomplete responses, or submitting bids with exceptions or modifications to the bid documents may render the proposal nonresponsive.

Westchester County remits vendor payments via an electronic funds transfer EFT program known as VendorDirect. Any successful bidder that will not accept payment in that method will be considered nonresponsive to our solicitation and their bid may be rejected.

All items delivered must be guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship.

Failure to deliver within the specified time may be cause for cancellation of the order and/or the removal of bidders name from bidders list. Any additional costs incurred by the county may be charged to original vendor.

All work must be completed no later than September 25, 2026.

Proposals are solicited from qualified, licensed, and insured dealers, contractors, or installers.

The estimated budget for this project is $100,000.

Delivery is required by November 13, 2026.

Bidders must be qualified dealers and meet all requirements in the specifications. The town of west springfield, through its department of public works, is seeking bids from qualified dealers for the purchase of three ( 3) 2027 ford f- 250s with the minimum specifications listed in the bid purchase description.
