This solicitation requires the supply of flight critical shuttle assemblies for aircraft launching equipment. Only companies approved by the Naval Air Systems Command for source approval are eligible. Mandatory inspections, including interim and final, are required at the contractor's location and at Lakehurst. First article testing is required by the government. The material is designated as critical safety item (CSI). The contractor must provide detailed documentation for source approval, including configuration drawings and process operation sheets.
