Georgetown County is seeking sealed bids for road striping and pavement markings for FY27, including resurfacing with HMA. Bids must be submitted electronically by September 9, 2026, at 4:00 PM ET. Work must be completed within 90 days from the notice to proceed, with liquidated damages at $500 per day thereafter. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder. Site inspection is independent on own. All work must be performed in a skillful and workmanlike manner.
All such invoices will be paid within thirty 30 days unless any items thereon are questioned, in which event payment will be withheld pending verification of the amount claimed and the validity of the claim.
All items shall be new, in first class condition, including containers suitable for shipment and storage, unless otherwise indicated herein.
The construction contract will be awarded to the firm or team of firms submitting the lowest and mostresponsive and responsible proposals as determined by the county.
The successful bidder shall procure, maintain, and provide proof of, insurance coverage for injuries to persons and/or property damage as may arise from or in conjunction with, the work performed on behalf of the county by the bidder, his agents, representatives, employees or subcontractors.

The bidder is expected to have become familiar with and take into consideration, site conditions which may affect the work and to check all dimensions at the site.
