Rhode Island Housing and Mortgage Finance Corporation (RIHousing) is seeking proposals from qualified municipalities to facilitate applications for its Leadsafe Homes Program. The program aims to address lead-based paint hazards and other housing-related health and safety issues for low-income families. Proposals must be submitted via email to ***@***. *. * by April 14th, 2026. Submissions should be concise, on business letterhead, and include all required attachments and certifications. Failure to provide requested information may result in disqualification. RIHousing reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Municipalities administering local HUD lead grants are not eligible. Preference may be given to municipalities with a high prevalence of lead poisoning, older housing stock, and/or a high percentage of residents at or below 50% of AMI.
