The contract is awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. it is the intent of city to award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder

Bidders must meet responsibility criteria including registration, UBI number, and no willful wage violations. at the time of bid submittal, have a certificate of registration in compliance with chapter **** rcw

Failure to execute the contract within 10 calendar days may result in forfeiture of the bid deposit. should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid l deposit may be forfeited

Pre-bid or solicitation protests must be received at least 5 days before the bid open date. the city must receive a prebid or solicitation protest at least five 5 days before the bid open date

Bids may be rejected if incomplete, qualified, or if unit prices are left blank. your bid shall be considered nonresponsive and therefore, void if: o figures are illegible o minimum proposal requirements are not met

The engineer's estimate is $550,000. engineers estimate: 550,000

Work must be completed by July 1, 2024. The expected delivery date of playground is by May 13, 2024, and the work time frame is May 13, 2024, to July 1, 2024.

Final payment will be made approximately thirty 30 days after invoicing, after delivery and acceptance of equipment and submission of all required documents.

The contractor and/or manufacturer shall provide a minimum of one 1 year warranty for all materials and workmanship associated with the project.

Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder, as determined by the board of commissioners.

Bidders must visit the site and examine all documents to verify conditions. Submission of bid is presumptive evidence of site visit and familiarity with requirements.

Responses should include the firms legal business name, unique entity identifier (UEI), point of contact, relevant construction experience, and current SDVOSB certification status.

Responses must be received no later than 4:30pm ET on 10/16/2026 and submitted electronically to the contracting point of contact.

The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.

Payment made upon acceptance of satisfactory work. payment shall be made upon acceptance by the county of satisfactory work by the contractor

Respondents must submit safety record questionnaire, ethics declaration, and HUB declaration. attached is a completed, certified safety record questionnaire a sworn declaration and acknowledgement regarding travis county ethics requirements and a historically underutilized business hub program declaration

Liquidated damages apply for failure to complete on time. Liquidated damages: see general conditions of the construction contract, item 8, section 8. 6 failure to complete work on time

Contacting anyone other than the point of contact may disqualify the response. the respondent shall not contact anyone at travis county other than those persons listed as the point of contact. any other contact may disqualify the response from consideration for award
