Solicitation for the repair and remanufacturing of a Hyster Perkins H280HD forklift transmission. Includes round-trip transport of the forklift from Norfolk Naval Shipyard to the contractor's facility, installation of a remanufactured transmission, testing to OEM specifications, and delivery back to FRCMA VRT. Performance period is 60 calendar days after award. A Certificate of Conformance is required. Award will be made based on price and technical proposal. Quotations must be submitted by August 6, 2026. Registration in SAM. gov is required.
The contractor shall pick up the forklift, complete the repair, and return it within 60 calendar days after award of the contract.
Payment will be made by Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system. Contractors shall use WAWF for electronic submission of payment requests and receiving reports.
The government requires a standard commercial warranty, including parts and labor at no cost to the government, or at least the same warranty terms offered to the general public.
The government intends to award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The factors are price (lowest proposed price) and technical acceptability.
Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and maintain active registration. They must also submit a complete quote package including a technical proposal and price proposal.
In the event that the remanufactured transmission is determined to be defective, damaged, or otherwise nonconforming, the contractor will be required to correct/repair the rejected equipment at the contractor's expense.
Quotations received after the closing date and time will not be accepted or considered for award. Failure to comply with all terms and conditions in the RFQ may result in the quote not being considered.
