The Fayetteville Public Works Commission (PWC) is soliciting sealed bids for two 230kV SF6 gas breakers. Bids must be submitted by February 24, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST. Questions must be submitted by February 9, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST. The award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder. Delivery is expected by June 15, 2028. Bidders must use the provided forms and include all costs in their bid. A bid deposit or bond is required. The Sale of Goods Agreement is included. The successful bidder must provide a warranty for 60 months.

Payment for equipment shall be made approximately thirty days after delivery, inspection, approval and invoice received.
The bid notice states he breaker to be provided herein shall include a full warranty on each complete breaker together with all parts. this warranty shall extend for not less than sixty 60 months.
The award will be to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder whose qualifications indicate the award will be in the best interest of PWC.

Unsolicited bid samples or descriptive literature may not be examined or tested, will not be used to determine responsiveness, and will not be deemed to vary any of the provisions of the ifb.
