The Department of Veterans Affairs anticipates awarding a firm fixed-price contract for patient
exam tables. The contract includes delivery, installation, deinstallation of
examination tables. The tables must meet specific features, fit, and form requirements, including adjustable height, head tilt, pelvic tilt, footrest extension, hand and foot controls, powered back movement, heated upholstery, safety and mobility roller system, electrical receptacles, wired hand and foot controls, and a minimum 1-year manufacturer warranty. The contractor must provide installation and deinstallation/relocation services to assist the facility with relocating current tables and installing new tables. Onsite training for
healthcare providers is required. Delivery must be made to the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center warehouse during normal business hours, excluding federal holidays. The contract incorporates various FAR clauses, including those related to contract terms and conditions, disputes, excusable delays, invoice requirements, payment, patent indemnity, risk of loss, taxes, termination for convenience or cause, title, warranty, limitation of liability, and compliance with laws unique to government contracts. The solicitation is set aside for servicedisabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs). Offers must be submitted to the specified office by the exact time specified in the solicitation. The government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors.
