Progress payments are 95% of completed work with retainage. progress payments will be made in amount equal to 95 percent of the work completed with the balance being retainage.
The project is awarded to the lowest price bidder. the responsible and eligible bidder offering the lowest price shall be awarded the project.
MassDOT prequalification with class of work as pavement surfacing is required. massdot prequalification of contractors with the class of work as pavement surfacing for the project with an estimated value of 871, **** will be required.
Liquidated damages of $500 per workday for late completion. a fine at **** a day for every work day the paving is not completed.
Questions must be submitted in writing at least 7 days before bid opening. such questions shall be submitted in writing to the city at least 7 days before the established date for receipt of bids.
Bids may be rejected if incomplete, conditional, obscure, or not responsive. the city may reject bids which in its sole judgment are either incomplete, conditional, obscure or not responsive.
