This solicitation is for a commercial food service gas steamer for the Circleville Juvenile Correctional Facility. Suppliers are encouraged, but not required, to visit the site. The inquiry period begins on **** and ends on **** at 12:00 PM. Quotes are due on **** at 10:00 AM. The awarded contract is estimated to become effective on July 8, 2025. Suppliers must provide qualifications, experience, and cost information, including installation fees and a performance startup quote valid for at least 60 days. The steamer must meet specific specifications and include a 2-year warranty. The awarded contract will be given to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, emphasizing cost and experience. All inquiries must be submitted through the OhioBids website. Responses to inquiries will be posted on the website for all prospective offerors. ODYS will try to respond to all properly posed inquiries within 48 hours, excluding weekends and state holidays. The supplier must be able to perform the installation of the equipment and its accessories in a manner that protects any limited warranty. A performance startup will be completed to confirm proper installation and validate the warranty. If there are defects to be found with the installation process, the supplier must guarantee resolve any installation issues. ODYS requires contractors to be experienced and qualified to perform the installation. Services shall be completed in accordance with current regulations, including but not limited to, Ohio code requirements and manufacturer recommendations. Contractors shall provide the ODYS maintenance team detailed documentation of the services performed once completed, or at the very latest within five 5 business days. There are restrictions on direct communications between suppliers and ODYS employees during the solicitation period. Only written inquiries submitted through the OhioBids website are permitted.

Responses to this Invitation for Bids (IFB) must be received by June 23, 2025, 10:30 AM Central Time. The IFB is for kitchen equipment for the North Texas State Hospital in Wichita Falls. Bidders must submit a comprehensive response including all required information and documentation. The procurement schedule may be modified by addenda. Questions and clarifications must be submitted by email to the sole point of contact. Additional documents, such as the Hub Subcontracting Plan (HSP), are encouraged but not required. The response must include pricing information, specifications, and delivery guidelines. The contract term is from the date of award to August 31, 2025, with possible renewal options. All areas are to be demolished down to the existing roof decks and replaced. New shingle roofs will be applied to buildings 20 & 78; new 2- ply modified bitumen membrane roofs will be applied to buildings 31, 33, & 48. New Shingle rooves will have ice & water at all penetration flashings & at area perimeters which shall extend over rakes & eaves. All new metal flashings & edging will be of pre- finished material. New 2- ply mod- bit rooves will be over 2 layers of 2. 2 rigid insulation & cover board. Tapered insulation shall be used at all drainage crickets & saddles. New coping cap, expansion joint, & control joint flashings shall be pre- finished metal and installed at existing locations. New waterheads, downspouts, & splash pans/splash blocks shall be provided where downspouts do not empty into drain boots.
