The contract is for providing trained crew members for prescribed fire operations in southern Illinois. The vendor must provide experienced crew members with specific training and experience. The primary job coordinator will manage the project. The contract term is from the last dated signature of the parties and ending on April 15, 2027. Invoices must be submitted no more frequently than monthly, with a final invoice due by April 15, 2027. The total price of this contract is firm. The state may terminate the contract with 30 days written notice. Subcontractors are allowed, provided they meet the qualifications of the vendor staff. The vendor must provide insurance and adhere to all site rules and restrictions. The vendor must provide documentation of crew experience with the bid. The vendor must provide their own transportation to each prescribed fire. The vendor must provide a per hour bid for the contractual work described in these job specifications.
The final invoice for the contract must be submitted by April 15, 2027.
Payments will be paid in accordance with the state prompt payment act and rules when applicable. Payment terms contained in vendors invoices shall have no force or effect.
The vendor warrants that the supplies furnished under this contract will: conform to the standards, specifications, drawing, samples or descriptions furnished by the state or furnished by the vendor and agreed to by the state, including but not limited to all specifications attached as exhibits hereto.
Vendor shall provide trained crew members who have completed S130, S190, and fire field day training assisted with at least ten prescribed burns led by IDNR staff in the southern region participated in at least two fire seasons and who have experience with all aspects of prescribed fire operations firebreak preparation, ignitions, holding, mopup.
The vendor shall meet with the primary job coordinator onsite prior to initiating work to identify access routes and locations for staging equipment and materials in accordance with site conditions.
The total price of this contract is firm.
