The Town of Snowmass Village is seeking proposals for vegetative fuels reduction for wildfire mitigation. Services include clearing brush, limbing and removing trees, and mastication. Proposals are due by July 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The estimated budget is $250,000. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site tour will be held on June 23, 2026. The contract may be renewed for up to two additional 1-year terms.
Proposals must be received by no later than 2:00 p. m. on July 2, 2026. any proposals received after 2:00 pm on july 2, 2026, will not be considered.
The contract or contracts will be awarded to the proposer or proposers that best meet the criteria established: team portfoliosimilar project experience schedule professionally prepared, complete, and organized materials cost per project, completion days per project, and total cost and completion days for the complete scope of work, if applicable.
Proposers shall provide information related to qualifications, fees for services, and schedule. The town seeks qualified wildfire mitigation contractors with prior experience in tree limbing, herbicide application, and vegetative fuels removal, harvest, mastication or similar work.
A site tour will be conducted as part of the pre-proposal meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 12:00 p. m. The site tour will visit several representative project units to provide an understanding of the terrain, vegetation, and expectations of the mitigation work.
The town may disqualify and reject any proposal that it deems illegible, unclear, or incomplete. if proposer fails to satisfy a through c set forth above, the town may treat the entire proposal as a public record available for inspection by the public under cora.
The town of Snowmass Village currently has a budget of $250,000 to undertake this project. he town has budgeted 250, 000 for the mitigation work detailed herein.
