Substantial completion is required by May 17, 2019. The work must commence by April 1, 2019, weather dependent, and continue with due diligence until full completion and acceptance. As stated: substantial completion date: may 17, 2019.

Monthly estimates may be presented no later than the first Monday of each month, with payments made within approximately 30 days after review by the owner. Final payment is made within approximately 30 days of final inspection and approval. As stated: payments will be made within approximately thirty 30 days after review by the owner.

The contractor and/or manufacturer must provide a minimum one-year warranty for all materials and workmanship. As stated: the contractor andor manufacturer shall provide a minimum of one 1 year warranty for all materials and workmanship associated with the project.

The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the invitation. As stated: award of contract will be made to the lowest responsible bidder, as determined by the board of commissioners.

Bidders must examine all documents, visit the site, and verify conditions. Submission of a bid is presumptive evidence of site visit and familiarity with local conditions. As stated: submission of bid will be considered presumptive evidence that the bidder has visited the site.

Failure to provide required bonds within 5 days after notice of award constitutes default, and the owner may award to the next bidder or readvertise. The defaulting bidder may be charged the difference in bid amounts. As stated: a charge against the defaulting bidder may be made for the difference between the amount of the bid.

Bidders should visit the site to ascertain the nature and location of the work and local conditions. Failure to do so will not relieve bidders from responsibility for estimating properly. As stated: bidders should visit the site and take such other steps as may be reasonably necessary.

Bids submitted after the closing time will be returned unopened. Failure to furnish a bid guarantee in proper form and amount may cause rejection. Failure to list surety company on bid proposal is a nonresponsive bid. As stated: bids submitted after the closing time will be returned unopened.

Services and materials shall be performed or delivered within 24 hours or as otherwise ordered by the authority, as stated: services and materials shall be performed or delivered in conformance with specifications within twentyfour 24 hours or as otherwise ordered by the authority.

Payment is based on approved invoices with supporting documentation. The contract states: payment will be made on the basis of approved invoices and such supporting documentation as the authority may require.

Contractor warrants services and materials are free from defects for at least 12 months from final acceptance, as stated: free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of at least twelve 12 months from the date of final acceptance.

Contractor must be qualified and licensed, as stated: contractor and all of contractors employees or subcontractors performing services under this contract shall be qualified and competent in the applicable discipline or industry, shall be appropriately licensed as required by law.

Noncompliance with M/WBE goals may result in withholding amounts due, as stated: the authority shall have available to it appropriate remedies at law or in equity, including the right to withhold amounts due to contractor for any work until contractor submits a corrective action plan.

Contractor may be declared nonresponsive in future contracts for default, as stated: the right to deem contractor nonresponsive in future contracts to be awarded by the authority.
