The bid proposals must be received by the Town of Meredith no later than June 3, 2026. Late proposals will not be accepted.

The contractor will receive payment within thirty (30) days from the date of invoice, provided all work has been satisfactorily completed.

The Town of Meredith reserves the right to reject any, or all, proposals or accept the proposal the Town deems to be in its best interest, regardless of proposal acceptance the lowest bid amount.

If the contractor fails to perform the work in the manner specified, the Town reserves the option to assess the contractor daily for nonperformance. Before submitting a price proposal, each contractor must familiarize themselves with the water department building and grounds area.

The bidder agrees that the work will be completed and ready for final payment within 365 days of the notice to proceed. The bidder further agrees to commence substantial work on this project within 15 days of a notice to proceed.

The bidder declares that they have examined the site of the work and have fully satisfied themselves in regard to all conditions pertaining to such site. They have also examined the drawings and specifications for the work and are satisfied that they are sufficient for the work to be done.

The bidder further agrees that the deductions for liquidated damages, as stated in the agreement and general conditions, constitute fixed, agreed, and liquidated damages to reimburse the owner for additional costs to the owner resulting from the work not being completed within the time limit stated in the contract form. The liquidated damages shall be **** for each consecutive calendar day thereafter.

The bidder further declares that he has examined the site of the work and, through personal knowledge and experience and/or subsurface investigations, has fully satisfied himself in regard to all conditions pertaining to such site and he assumes full responsibility therefore.

The bid notice states that key personnel, including contractor project managers, software engineers, and endoscopy technicians, are imperative to the successful installation and operation of upgraded components. Contractor personnel must be able to identify themselves at all times within the federal government's jurisdiction using a valid driver's license and/or a federally issued government ID credential or contractor-issued ID badge upon request to federal authorities.
