The City of Johns Creek is seeking qualified contractors for on-call disaster response and emergency management services, specifically for disaster debris removal, reduction, and disposal. Proposals are due electronically by July 29, 2026, 2:00 PM ET. Key services include emergency road clearance, debris removal from rights-of-way, hazardous material handling, and temporary debris management site operations. Contractors must demonstrate experience, capacity for rapid mobilization, and compliance with federal requirements. The evaluation will be based on technical proposals and fee proposals.
Proposals must be submitted electronically in BidNet no later than 2:00 PM ET on July 29, 2026. Late proposals responses are never accepted.
Proposals will be evaluated based on stated evaluation criteria, including Project Understanding (30 points), Company Background and Experience (20 points), Project Personnel (15 points), Mobilization Guaranteed Response Time (15 points), References (10 points), and Fee Proposal (10 points). The award will be made to the firm making the most favorable submittal to the city of Johns Creek taking into account all the above criteria.
To be eligible, contractors must demonstrate successful completion of similar services, be normally and routinely engaged in performing such services, and have no conflict of interest with other city work. They must also provide credentials supporting past experience, expertise, organization, fleet size, and labor/manpower.
All questions must be submitted via BidNet no later than 5:00 PM on July 20, 2026.
Failure to meet mandatory requirements, submitting late proposals, violating communication restrictions, or providing incomplete information may lead to disqualification.
