Cherokee Nation is seeking sealed proposals for fiduciary consulting services for their employee 401k plan administration. Proposals are due by July 10, 2026, 5:00 PM CT. Key services include acting as an advisor and fiduciary, investment review and monitoring, plan expense negotiation, and vendor proposal negotiation. Indian preference will be given to TERO certified respondents. Questions are due by June 23, 2026, 5:00 PM CT.
Sealed proposals must be received no later than July 10, 2026, by 5:00 PM CT.
Compensation to the contractor shall be based on specific price and/or rates identified in the contractor's proposal, as negotiated.
The award will be made to the responsible, responsive bidder whose proposal is determined to be in the best interests of the Nation, based on evaluation factors including questionnaire, transition requirements, cost/pricing, value-added services, experience, and Indian preference.
Respondents must provide proof of current certification from the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employments Office (TERO) if claiming Indian preference. Firms must also demonstrate at least 10 years of experience as a broker or consultant and experience with three accounts having over 1,000 employees.
Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted in written format by June 23, 2026, by 5:00 PM CT.
Substantive and material conflicts of interest not declared or determined to be significant, substantive and material noncompliance to RFP requirements, or not providing a price may result in disqualification.
