The contractor shall, in the absence of a payment schedule, periodically submit to the town invoices, itemizing goods, services, labor and expenses for which compensation is due and requesting payment for goods received or services rendered by the contractor during the period covered by the invoice. The amounts due under such invoice shall be payable within thirty 30 days after the towns receipt of such invoice.

All products shall be warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship upon installation, with the warranty beginning on the date of acceptance. For video systems, non-interactive displays and sound systems have a 5-year warranty, and cabling, converters, extenders, and other equipment have the standard manufacturer's warranty. The AV system contractor shall be available on call and respond on-site within 24 hours notice, without cost to the owner, during the first 12 months of full-scale operation following acceptance.

Equipment shall be built and tested by a manufacturer regularly engaged in production for a minimum of five years. The equipment supplier shall maintain permanent service facilities geographically located within a reasonable distance and have at least five years of continuous experience. The installation shall be performed by qualified personnel with at least three years of continuous experience. The project manager shall be PMP certified or have a minimum of three years of project management experience.

The contractor and each subcontractor will be expected to have visited the site and appraised the existing situation and circumstances of operation.

Bidders who do not comply with checking for any changes, posted questions and answers to this solicitation may be disqualified from the bidding process.
