Vehicle Lettering Government Bids & RFPs

Proposals must be submitted by August 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Late proposals will be rejected. Proposals received after the scheduled due date and time will not be considered.

Payment for goods and services will be processed within 30 days of receipt of a valid invoice. Payment for goods services arising out of the contract resulting from this solicitation and received by the city shall be processed within 30 days of receipt of a valid invoice.

Proposals will be evaluated based on completeness, ability to provide required items and services, qualified staff, company history/stability, and past/current experience/performance. The selection will be based on the proposal representing the best value to the city. Offerors must have Ford Motor Company, General Motors, and Chrysler drop ship numbers, sufficient resources to complete 8 vehicles per week, adequate premises insurance, and the ability to deliver 8 vehicles per week upon completion. a Offeror must have a Ford Motor Company f. m. c. , general motors, and chrysler drop ship number so new vehicles can be shipped directly to vendors finishing facility.

Offerors may be disqualified for reasons including collusion, involvement in litigation against the city, being in arrears on contracts, or defaulting on previous contracts. Offerors may be disqualified for any of the following reasons: Reason to believe collusion exists among the offerors

Unauthorized communications with city employees or officials, failure to meet city requirements, non-responsive or incomplete submittals, and collusion can lead to disqualification. Respondents contact regarding this rfp with employees or officials of the city of charleston will result in disqualification from this procurement process.

Delivery will be made within calendar days after receipt of the towns related purchase order.

The bid which best serves the interest of the town.

Bidders must be authorized direct and or OEM dealers for the manufacturers of the proposed equipment.

The town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids.

Quotes are due Monday, July 20, 2026, at 11 a. m.

Progress payments will be made upon proof of delivery and availability of the items ordered and delivered to the installer.

Priority and/or higher ranking will be given to the lowest responsible quoter bidder that can perform this work on a more timely basis, within a range of 5% of total overall cost.

The village will not award a contract to anyone who cannot prove they have sufficient experience in this type of work and is financially ready, willing, and able to furnish and install the required equipment.

The village will not accept quotes or award a contract to anyone who cannot prove sufficient experience and financial readiness.
