Telecommunications Technician Government Bids & RFPs

The contractor shall complete all work required under this statement of work within 180 calendar days after contract award.

Invoices shall be submitted in arrears upon completion and government acceptance of work. Payment will be made by electronic funds transfer.

The contractor shall provide a 1-year parts and labor warranty covering all installed fiber infrastructure, terminations, splices, network cards, and associated workmanship.

Award will be made on a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) basis.

Offerors must be eligible Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Key personnel require specific certifications including NICET Level IV or higher, CFOT, and RCDD.

Offerors are strongly encouraged, but not required, to attend a site visit. Failure to attend will not disqualify an offeror.

Failure to provide required certifications with the proposal may result in the proposal being determined technically unacceptable.

CSTs require U. S. citizenship and TS/SCI eligibility. SSMs require a minimum TS/SCI eligibility, at least 5 years of renovation experience (security experience can supplement), familiarity with construction divisions, a CST training certificate, ability to perform physical activities, understanding of ICD/705, and necessary safety certifications. Both roles require U. S. citizenship. The contractor shall provide u. s. minimum ts sci eligible persons specially trained in surveillance and the renovation trade and Minimum required security clearance is eligibility for tssci.

Failure to obtain required clearances or maintain them throughout the contract life can lead to disqualification. All contractor personnel must have the necessary clearances at top secret and eligibility as proposed and must maintain the level of security required for the life of the contract.

The offeror must be an authorized, qualified, and certified vendor. The technician shall be Motorola factory-authorized with all appropriate Motorola factory training and completion certificates for Motorola Astro P25 infrastructure and subscriber radios. They must have a relevant associate degree, Motorola radio equipment certifications, and a minimum of five years of experience in telecommunications and land mobile radio maintenance, with specific experience in field support of various LMR technologies and practices. Additional certifications like Security+ or Network+ are also required.
