Project involves park upgrades and improvements, including new playground equipment installation and replacement, resurfacing, grading, landscaping, and removals. Bids are due July 8, 2026. Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Federal funds are utilized, requiring compliance with HUD regulations. Bidders must submit a New York State Department of Labor contractor registration certificate. A bid bond or certified check of 5% of the base bid is required. The contractor guarantees all materials and workmanship for one year. Work must be completed within 90 calendar days from commencement.
Work must be completed fully and in every respect on or before the time specified in the contract, and all work shall be completed within ninety 90 calendar days from the commencement of the work.

The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder pursuant to the provisions of the general municipal law. The town board reserves the right to determine responsibility based on an evaluation of the contractors qualifications, experience, organization, finances, past performance, and other applicable factors.
The town may make such investigations as it deems necessary to determine the qualifications of the bidder to perform the work, and the bidder shall furnish information and data for this purpose as may be required. All bidders are required to provide a certification of registration from the New York State Department of Labor with their bid.
The bid bond or certified check will be forfeited to the town of Greenburgh as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to enter into a contract and furnish the necessary bonds and insurance for the work, if awarded to him, within the specified time.
Bidders attention is directed to paragraph 1 of the bid proposal, in which the bidder certifies that he has examined the site.
Requests for information RFI shall be submitted no later than 10:00 am on Monday, June 29, 2026.
Failure to provide a certification of registration from the New York State Department of Labor with the bid will disqualify a bidder. Proposals that contain any omissions, erasures, alterations, additions, or items not called for in the itemized proposal, or that contain irregularities of any kind, may constitute sufficient cause for rejection of the bid.
