The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and materials, maintaining an up-to-date roster of radiologists, and participating in performance reviews and quality assurance audits. Technical requirements include HIPAA-compliant, FDA-approved teleradiology platforms, secure data transmission and storage compliant with FISMA and NIST **** standards, and integration with existing IHS systems. The contractor must also comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and WCAG 2. 0 Level AA standards for electronic information technology accessibility. Invoicing will be processed through the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) or as directed by the contracting officer. A Contracting Officer Representative (COR) will be appointed for technical monitoring and performance assessment.
The period of performance for this contract includes a base year and four option years. The base period is from 10/01/2026 to 09/30/2027, with option years extending through 09/30/2031.
Invoices will detail costs per study/exam or a flat monthly rate, as specified in the contract. The contractor will submit monthly invoices through the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) or as directed by the contracting officer.
All interpreting radiologists must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent institution, possess an active, current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in a US state if required, and possess a current teleradiology certification per Minnesota state requirements. They must also become credentialed and privileged by IHS prior to performing services and have no sanctions from Medicare or Medicaid, or other federal agencies.
The contractor shall not be penalized for transcription delays due to equipment failure beyond the contractor's control. However, if the contractor is involved and named in a validated patient complaint, the government reserves the right to refuse acceptance of the services of such personnel.
The bid notice does not indicate that samples are required.
Failure to maintain active medical staff appointment and clinical privileges could result in suspension or termination of this contract.
