Latest US Lawn Seed Contracts & Bids

This is a supply-based contract for cemetery grounds maintenance at Dayton National Cemetery. The contractor is responsible for providing tall fescue turfgrass sod and a sod blend of trophy mix seed. Delivery of grass seed is expected once per year at the start of the growing season (typically March or April), and sod delivery is expected monthly from March to November. Minimum order quantities are specified for both grass seed and sod. The contractor must adhere to specific quality standards for the sod and seed, including cultivar requirements, and must maintain a high standard of conduct and safety. The cemetery is responsible for proper soil preparation and maintenance of the sod after delivery. Work hours are restricted to normal federal workdays between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, and federal holidays are observed.

Bid invitation for the supply and delivery of grass seed. Bids must be submitted on the provided form, enclosed in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name and address, and received by 2:00 PM CDT on 08/19/2025. Late bids will not be considered. Questions must be submitted in writing by 12:00 PM CDT on 08/13/2025. The City of Ofallon reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. All bids must be F. O. B. delivered to the specified address. The successful bidder will be awarded a one-year agreement, renewable for two additional one-year periods, at the terms of the original contract, at the city's option. Price increases are allowed at the time of renewal, by mutual agreement. A request for a price increase must be presented to the city at least 60 days before the expiration of the current agreement. If a request for increase is not presented, the prices will remain. Price decreases are allowed at any time. The contract documents include instructions to bidders, general conditions, special conditions, bid form, references, specifications, pricing, signatures, and any addenda. All documents are on file in the office of the city clerk.

Sealed bids are being accepted for turf seed, soil amendments, and fertilizer supplies, application, and knowledge-based services. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of the bid package by a specified date and time. Addenda will be posted to the town's website. Questions due by August 27th, 2025 at 1:30 pm, and bids due September 3, 2025 at 1:30 pm. The town reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Payment terms are net 30 days. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must complete specific forms (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) and provide references. Additional requirements may apply. The contract is for a term commencing upon execution and ending 3 years, renewable for up to 2 years in one-year terms.
