The City of Laredo is seeking proposals for the operation, maintenance, and management of its recycling materials recovery facility (MRF). Proposals are due by March 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM CT. Bidders must submit proposals electronically or hand-deliver them to the City Secretary's Office. The contract will be awarded based on the best value criteria, considering experience, Machinex expertise, operational plan, financial proposal, marketing strategy, and safety record. The term of the contract is for five years, with the possibility of two one-year extensions.
