The contractor shall provide a minimum of a one-year warranty on parts and equipment supplied, including to correct any possible defects in materials and workmanship. The contractor shall provide a follow-on 4-year break and fix maintenance service for the GV system that includes biannual preventative maintenance inspections and required batteries refresh/replacement.
The contractor shall have demonstrated experience in designing, installing, and supporting large-scale mass notification systems, preferably for DOD clients. A team of qualified personnel with expertise in acoustic engineering, RF communication, network engineering, cybersecurity, GV system software, and DOD security protocols is required. All necessary licenses, permits, certifications, and clearances to perform work on a military installation are required.
A comprehensive site survey of JBLE, Langley AFB, Bethel Manor Housing, and Fort Eustis is required to assess existing infrastructure, identify optimal siren locations, and evaluate environmental factors.
