The bidders must be a person, firm, or corporation that has in operation, or has the capability to have in operation, a manufacturing plant adequate to assure delivery of all equipment within the time specified under this contract; has adequate service personnel, or has the capability to have such personnel, to satisfy any service problems that may arise during the warranty period; and has the necessary facilities and financial resources or has the capability to obtain such facilities and resources to complete the contract in a satisfactory manner within the required time.
Failure to fill out required forms completely may result in your proposal being ruled nonresponsive. Nonresponsive proposals will not be awarded the contract. If collusion is found, the contract may be voided and the contractor liable for all loss or damage suffered by RIPTA.
Samples, when required, must be submitted within the time specified, at no expense to RIPTA. If not destroyed or used up during testing, samples will be returned upon request at the proposer's expense.
Protests concerning the solicitation must be submitted in writing five working days prior to proposal opening or closing date for receipt of proposals.
