The Garden Grove Unified School District is seeking bids for
office instructional supplies for
warehouse stock. The bid deadline is April 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM, and the bid opening is April 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Bidders must submit their bids on the prescribed form and pricing sheet, and complete all required items and statements legibly. Bid documents are available for download on March 14, 2025, on the district website. Questions regarding the bid must be submitted in writing by email to ***@***. *. * by March 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Answers to questions will be posted as an official addendum no later than April 4, 2025, at 5:00 PM on the district website. The contract will be for one year with two one-year options to renew at the district's discretion. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process. Bidders must agree that any contract awarded by the district will be contingent on adequate funding and that any awarded contract may be terminated at any time by the district. Bidders must agree to furnish
office instructional supplies at the unit prices quoted in accordance with actual requirements throughout the contract period. The
office instructional supplies are non-exclusive. The district will determine, in its sole discretion, the types of products that are best for its use and the most cost-effective for the district. All communications from the district shall only be through an official addendum. The bid must conform and be responsive to all bid documents. The successful bidder is responsible for providing the district with no less than thirty (30) days prior written notification of any proposed price increases. Price increases shall not be automatically made and no price increase will exceed the lesser of three percent (3%) or the annual increase in the urban consumer price index (CPI-U) for the Los Angeles, Riverside and Anaheim area beginning March 2024 and ending March 2025, and for each subsequent one-year period on the March to March time period. Samples may be requested before an award is made. If requested prior to award, samples should be submitted to the district's purchasing department. The successful bidder will be required to execute a drug-free workplace certification upon execution of the agreement. The bidder will be required to take positive measures outlined in the certification in order to ensure the presence of a drug-free workplace. The successful bidder will be required to comply with the applicable requirements of Education Code section **** with respect to fingerprinting of employees and must complete the district's criminal records check certification. Bidders shall list a minimum of three (3) references where the bidder has successfully provided similar types of goods and services to another large school district or public agency at the similar size and scope as Garden Grove Unified School District. The district reserves the right to reject any bid that does not conform to the specifications. Deviations from any bid term or condition may cause a bid to be rejected as nonresponsive. The district shall have discretion to terminate this contract in whole or in part at any time and require the bidder to cease all work by providing the bidder thirty (30) days prior written notice of termination.
