Payments will be made for services provided as promptly as possible upon receipt of the air drop report invoice approved by the authorized representative of the department. Payments for availability will be invoiced and paid separately. Flight time will be paid for each individual mission fire or ferry flights.

Contractor must provide one FAA-certified and inspected rotary-wing aircraft with firefighting equipment and qualified pilots. Pilots must meet FAA requirements for external load operations and have specific flight experience. Aircraft must meet performance and maintenance standards.

Failure to meet availability and readiness requirements may result in penalties, including liquidated damages of $500. 00/hr for unavailability during specific periods.

The contract term is from the date of execution until November 15, 2026, with potential extensions by written mutual agreement. The initial term of the contract shall commence on the date the city executes the contract and shall end on november 15, 2026.
