Soldering Process Government Bids & RFPs

The tender is for 20,000 units of **** miscellaneous welding, soldering, and brazing supplies and accessories. The offer due date is May 2, 2025. The contract requires specific quality requirements, inspections, and certifications. A variation in quantity of 5% is allowed. Constructive acceptance is changed from 7 days to 45 days after delivery. Government source inspection is not required. Inspection and acceptance will occur at destination. Mercury and mercury-containing compounds must not be intentionally added or come in direct contact with hardware or supplies furnished under this contract. The contractor must provide and maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO ****, with the calibration system requirements of ISO **** or ANSI **** with ISO 17025. The contractor must maintain adequate records of all inspections and tests. The suppliers gages, measuring and test equipment must be made available for use by the government when required to determine conformance with contract requirements. The government has the right to inspect at source, any supplies or services that were not manufactured or performed within the contractor's facility. The prime contractor must ensure that the purchased product conforms to specified purchase requirements and this contract. The prime contractor must evaluate the requirements of the contract and select suppliers based on their ability to supply the product in accordance with the prime contractor's requirements and the contract. The contractor must develop documented control procedures for government-furnished material (GFM). Traceability must be maintained from the material to the material certification test report and other required objective quality evidence (OQE). The material certification report must completely and accurately reflect that the material supplied meets the specified requirements. Material marking for spooled wire must be as identified within the applicable commodity specification. For weld materials, the weld material manufacturer is considered the original mill. Certification is required for each test performed under quality conformance listed in the applicable paragraph of the military specification. or table 5 of AWS specifications. Certification documentation must be submitted via wawf (wide area work flow). No material is to be shipped prior to the receipt of acceptance.

The US Army Corps of Engineers requires 3 new, multiprocess, diesel-engine-driven weldergenerators with running gear and accessories. Delivery is required by December 31, 2025, to the Fountain City service base. The solicitation is a firm fixed price Request for Quotes (RFQ) under simplified acquisition procedures.
