Lot 1: The State of Michigan requires a dual shaft industrial shredding system capable of securely and efficiently processing a wide range of sensitive and durable materials. The primary objective is confidential destruction of material so it can no longer be used or reconstructed. The system should be capable of securely shredding both lightweight materials such as paper and small plastics, as well as tougher items including uniforms, Kevlar, and limited metal objects. The design must allow safe feeding without conveyors and enable placement within existing facility constraints while also having enough power to destroy these items. Vendors must provide an installation quote as part of their proposal. Quotes should include any additional costs for delivery, setup, and on- site training. Vendors must include the following in their bid submission: - tTechnical specifications for the proposed shredder - tSystem drawings, diagrams, or brochures ( if available) - tElectrical requirements - tInstallation quote - tWarranty documentation - tRecommended maintenance schedule - tCosts of any applicable tariffs
