Roof systems to be replaced include SBS Modified Bitumen membrane system, slate shingles replaced with asphalt shingles with a slate shingle appearance, and standing seam copper roofing replaced with concealed clip, pre- finished standing seam metal roofing. Cut limestone capstones will be cleaned throughout the entire facility. Small amount of aluminum storefront system will be replaced at roof gables.

Leakage reduction items include installation of PZC- 18 metal sheet piling along the specified corridor and backfilling the area between sheet piling and upstream face of the dam. On the downstream face perform masonry joint repairs, masonry stone replacement, and tree removal to support leakage reduction. To improve site safety along the concrete walkway, remove and replace existing pipe handrail with OSHA and IBC- compliant handrail system with safety gate at the new gate operator. Existing siphon pipe is to be extended upstream of the sheet piling and existing water line along the walkway handrail for reinstallation or to be replaced in- kind. Demolition Work shall include full or partial demolition of the following existing structures: pipe handrail along the walkway, existing gate, stem, operator, and components. All areas will receive a cold- applied 2- ply modified bitumen membrane over 1/2" cover board. Replacement areas shall be removed to the existing roof deck and reconstructed with various substrate assemblies, including combinations of rigid insulation, tapered insulation, and cover board. Tapered insulation shall be provided as required for positive drainage, including crickets and saddles. Existing aluminum coping caps shall remain in designated areas, while new pre- finished metal coping caps shall be installed in others. New stainless steel expansion joint flashings shall be installed at existing locations.

The new plant will be rated for 200, 000 gpd peak flow. The WTP will be a sequencing batch reactor style with tertiary filtration and ultraviolet disinfection. A bid alternate will include demolishing the existing WWTP and replacing the interior of the influent pump station.
