Proposals are due by July 22, 2026, 4:00 PM local time, submitted via email to ***@***. *. * contract is for produce products for Eugene School District 4J, starting after the **** academic year, with potential for four one-year extensions. The award will be based on a combination of cost (50 points) and technical factors including quality, availability, delivery, and experience (50 points). Vendors must demonstrate experience, provide prompt service, and meet product quality and delivery specifications. Payment terms are within 30 days of receipt of product and invoice. Proposals must be valid for 60 days.
Proposals are due by July 22, 2026, at 4:00 PM local time. Proposals delivered after the deadline will not be accepted.
Payment will be processed within 30 days after receipt of both product and invoice, from whichever date is later.
All products sold to District shall be warranted and guaranteed to be merchantable by vendor and fit for the purpose for which it is intended.
Scoring will be based on cost (50 points) and narrative responses to listed questions, product quality, product availability, food testing, delivery experience, timeliness, driver service, and professionalism (50 points).
The vendor must be a produce distributor with five years of experience and have an assigned sales representative for the Eugene area.
Failure to meet delivery dates may constitute a breach of contract by vendor which may subject vendor to termination. If a product recall is instituted, the vendor will be responsible for all costs associated with replacement product, shipping charges, and/or product credit.
Any adversely affected proposer has seven 7 calendar days from the date of the written notice of award to file a written protest.
Failure to submit a proposal in accordance with the provisions of this section may be grounds to declare the proposal nonresponsive. Failure to provide any information requested may result in rejection of your proposal.
