Sealed proposals are due by 10:00 a. m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Bidders and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and the County's ePro system. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a. m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, via video conference. The project involves replacing the existing gate with a motorized gate and pedestrian walk gate. A contractor's license class A or C13 is required. Bids must be submitted on forms obtained directly from the San Bernardino County Department of Public Works or ePro. A bid guarantee of at least 10% of the bid amount is required. The contract must be signed and returned within 10 days of receipt. Bonds, insurance policies, and certificates of insurance are also required within 10 days. Construction work must begin within 15 days after the notice to proceed with construction.

Contractor shall accept all payments from County via electronic funds transfer (EFT) directly deposited into the contractor's designated checking or other banking account.
The award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with all requirements.
