Lot 1: Specifications attached at the header. ONLY ONLINE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS RFB. Emailed and hard copies delivered by any method WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. During Phase 1 bidders must enter $ 0. 01 for price and zero ( 0) for delivery in the e- procurement system. Vendors should review and update, if necessary, all addresses and contact persons for their account prior to bid submission. This information will carry forward to a contract if awarded, therefore please ensure all information is correct. DO NOT SUBMIT PRICING DURING PHASE 1. This RFB will be conducted as a Multistep Competitive Sealed Bid in accordance with 200 KAR 5: 375 also referred to as a REVERSE AUCTION. The Commonwealth has partnered with eBridge to host this bidding event on its Web- Based Bidding Platform. Vendors who have not previously registered must register with eBridge by emailing ***@***. *. * Review the Attachment ( eBridge Bid Instructions). The awarded supplier is obligated to pay a transaction fee to eBridge pursuant to the Terms and Conditions accepted upon placement of initial bid. This RFB will consist of two phases: Phase 1: VENDORS SHALL SUBMIT UNPRICED OFFERS per instruction in Section 3. 04. Prices will be accepted only from bidders whose unpriced technical offer is found acceptable during Phase 1. Phase 2: PRICES WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED IN THE SECOND PHASE DURING THE ONLINE REVERSE AUCTION BIDDING EVENT. If only one ( 1) responsive bid is received, the online reverse auction will be cancelled and the Division of Purchases, will request pricing from the vendor via email. Lot 11: Must fit the 2. 25" x 2. 25" anchor sleeve in Item 11 and be attached to two adjoining sides of the anchor. T009 - the Soil Stabilizer details depicted on the right side of the drawing correlate with Line 11
Lot 12: This item shall be the 8" Redi Torque Model 280 Slip Base for installation in new concrete by Xcessories Squared - Product Number RT8UX- ****- G. This is KYTC' s Type D omni- directional slip base that is MASH compliant and has a triangular slip plate with 8" sides. This Item is used with Items 6- 9 ( 2. 5" x 2. 5" square posts). This item includes a slip base top that accepts 2. 5" square posts, a match plate hardware kit ( which includes Redi- Torque Model 280 double hex torque- free bolts, flat washers, Teflon- coated plate separators, and large flange nuts), and a unibase anchor for installation in new concrete ( i. e. there is not a soil stablizer plate attached to this unibase anchor).
Lot 13: This item shall be the 8" Redi Torque Model 280 for installation in soil by Xcessories Squared - Product Number RT8UX- ****- G. This is KYTC' s Type D omni- directional slip base that is MASH compliant and has a triangular slip plate with 8" sides. This Item is used with Items 6- 9 ( 2. 5" x 2. 5" square posts). This item includes a slip base top that accepts 2. 5" square posts, a match plate hardware kit ( which includes Redi- Torque Model 280 double hex torque- free bolts, flat washers, Teflon- coated plate separators, and large flange nuts), and a unibase anchor that has a preattached soil stabilizer plate for installation in soil.
Lot 14: This item shall be the 8" Redi Torque Model 280 for installation in existing, hardened concrete by Xcessories Squared - Product Number SMSB8- 10- G. This is KYTC' s Type D omni- directional slip base that is MASH compliant and for surface mounting a sign assembly onto existing hardened concrete. It has a triangular slip plate with 8" sides. This item is to be used with Items 6- 9 ( the 2. 5" x 2. 5" square posts). This item includes a triangular slip base bottom plate stub that is welded to a flat base plate that has four holes for anchoring the suface mount assembly to existing concrete. This item does not include the slip base top that accepts 2. 5" square posts ( see Item 15). This item does not include the match plate hardware ( see Item 16). This item does not include the 5/8" x 6" Threaded Wedge Bolts needed to anchor this surface mount to existing hardened concrete ( see Item 26 for the wedge bolts).
Lot 15: This item shall be the 8" Redi- Torque Model Model 280 Slip Base Top for 2. 5" square posts by Xcessories Squared - Product Number SB8C- 250A- G. This item is the slip base top that accepts 2. 5" x 2. 5" square post and is a component of KYTC' s Type D Slip Base assemblies. This Item is typically used to replace missing Type D Slip Base Tops during repair of an existing Type D Slip Base assembly. It is also used when installing a new ( or repairing and existing) KYTC Type D Surface Mount ( see Item 14).
Lot 16: This item shall be the Redi- Torque Match- Plate Hardware - full set by Xcessorites Squared - Product Number RTSB- MPHDW. This match plate hardware kit is a component of KYTC' s Type D Slip Base assemblies. This kit is used during the repair of an existing Type D Slip Base assembly OR when installing a new ( or repairing an existing) Type D Surface Mount ( see Item 14). This is a full hardware set that includes the necessary Redi- Torque Model 280 1/2"- 13 x 3" Grade 8 double hex bolts, 5/8" flat washers, 1- 3/4" square x 3/16" thick Teflon- coated plate separators, and 1/2"- 13 x 3" Grade 8 large flange nuts necessary to replace the match plate hardware of a single Type D Slip Base.
Lot 17: This item shall be the Redi Torque Model 280 by Xcessories Squared - Product Number RT8UX- ****- G. This is the unibase anchor that is one component of the full Type D Slip Base set in Item 12. This unibase anchor is 48" long and has an 8" triangular slip plate welded to the top. This item will typically be used during repairs where a full Type D Slip Base set is not needed.
Lot 18: This item shall be the Redi Torque Model 280 by Xcessories Squared - Product Number RT8UX- ****- G. This is the unibase anchor that is one component of the full Type D Slip Base set in Item 13. This unibase anchor is a 42" long and has an 8" triangular slip plate welded to the top and a soil stablizer plate welded to the anchor stem just below the triangular slip plate. This item will typically be used for repairs where a full Type D Slip Base set is not needed.
Lot 19: This item shall be the Kleen Break Model 425 Sign Post Coupler System by Xcessories Squared - Product Number ****- G. This items includes a surface mount anchor with three holes for securing the anchor to existing hardened concrete, a rubber bushing, the Model 425 Shear Bolt, a top receiver that accepts 2" x 2" posts ( see Items 1- 5), and a locking wedge. See Item 29 for the Kleen Break Shear Bolt Wrench used to tighten the Model 425 Shear Bolt. This item does not included the three 1/2" x 4" threaded wedge bolts needed to secure the anchor plate to existing, hardened concrete - see Item 27 for the threaded wedge bolts.
Lot 20: This item shall be the Kleen Break Model 425 sign post receiver by Xcessories Squared - Product Number TX175- 200- G. This is the top portion of the Kleen Break that accepts 2" x 2" sign posts. This item will tyipcally used to replace missing Kleen Break post receivers during repair of an existing Kleen Break assembly.
Lot 21: This item shall be the Kleen Break Model 425 shear bolt and associated hardware by Xcessories Squared - Product Number ****- Z. This is the replacement shear bolt for Item 14 and is typically used when repairing an existing Kleen Break.
Lot 22: This shall be the Kleen Break Model 425 rubber bushing by Xcessories Squared - Product Number RB30- EPDM. This is the replacement rubber bushing for Item 14 and is typically used when repairing an existing Kleen Break.
Lot 23: This item shall be the Kleen Break Model 425 stem anchor by Xcessories Squared - Product Number CKBA- 8- G. The stem anchor is 8 inches long and can be used with either a new concrete installation OR a soil intallation. The stem portion of this anchor is set in either new concrete or inserted into a 2. 25" x 2. 25" anchor sleeve with soil stablizer plate ( see Items 10 and 11) that has been driven into soil.
Lot 24: Must be able to mount square tube sign posts specified in items 1- 9 and the post receiver cannot be more than 4" in height.
Lot 25: Galvanized Steel Bracket. All brackets must be able to mount square sign posts specified in Items 1- 9. Must be able to anchor to top and one side of barrier wall. Bracket will be 3/8" thick and is either 4" x 7" or 2. 5" x **** - the Barrier Mounting Bracket details depicted on the right side of drawing correlates with Line 25.
Lot 26: Must have a rust resistant finish. To be used to attached the base plate of Item 14 onto existing, hardened concrete.
Lot 27: Must have a rust resistant finish. To be used to attached the Kleen Break anchor that is within Item 19 onto existing, hardened concrete.
Lot 28: This item shall be the Post Locking Wedge for Square Posts by Xcessories Squared - Product Number LWX35F- G. This a replacement locking wedge for use with the Redi- Torque Model 280 Slip Base System ( KYTC' s Type D Slip Base) or for use with the Kleen Break Model 425 Sign Post Coupler System. This item is usually used when repairing an existing Type D Slip Base or an existing Kleen Break.
Lot 29: This item shall be the Kleen Break Shear Bolt Wrench by Xcessories Squared - Product Number XKBW- 1516. This is the tool used to reinstall the Kleen Break Shear Bolt ( see Item 21) when repairing an existing Kleen Break.
Lot 30: For securing telescoping sections of sign posts. Bolt must have a rust resistant finish and have a 90 degree bend designed for placement in 7/16" holes on adjacent sides.
Lot 31: Must have a rust resistant finish. For use with corner bolts ( see Items 30 and 33).
Lot 32: To be used with corner bolts. For use with corner bolts ( see Items 30 and 33).
Lot 33: 5/16" diameter large corner bolt, 3 inches long.
Lot 34: 3/8"- 16 x 3" HHCS Gr8 Zinc/Yellow
Lot 35: Case- hardened 3/8" flange nut
Lot 36: 2" Aluminum Sign Bracing 12' w/Holes.
Lot 37: Stainless Steel - Must fit the 2" square posts in Items 1- 5.
