This is a request for information and quotations. Furnished quotations are not offers. The request does not commit the government to pay any costs incurred in the preparation or submission of the quotation. Supplies are of domestic origin unless otherwise indicated. The schedule includes applicable federal, state, and local taxes. Government source inspection is required. The contractor is required to ship by traceable means and send a notification of shipment to both the procurement contracting officer (PCO) and the
repair manager. Additional provisions and representations are not attached. The contractor shall notify the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) for verification of the items condition if an item is found to be beyond economical
repair (BER) or beyond
repair (BR). The contractor shall not scrap or cannibalize the item until written authorization is provided by the PCO. The contractual delivery requirement is measured from asset return to the date of asset acceptance under the terms of the contract. The contractor is required to accurately report all transactions by the end of the fifth regular business day after receipt. The
repair turnaround time (RTAT), throughput constraint, and induction expiration date are included in the CLIN remarks. The items to be furnished are government furnished property (GFP) and shall be
repaired, tested, inspected, and accepted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in this contract. The contractor shall provide the necessary facility, labor, materials, parts, and test and tooling equipment required to return the items to a ready for issue (RFI) condition. Changes to
repair manuals/documents and changes to drawings or specifications for the manufacture of parts utilized in these
repairs require PCO approval. Any
repairs performed using unapproved changes are not permitted. An item is beyond
repair (BR) when the item is not capable of being
repaired in accordance with the statement of work due to the extent of physical damage. An item is beyond economical
repair (BER) if the cost of the
repair exceeds 80% of the replacement price estimate. A wra is subject to this missing on induction (MOI) provision if the item received by the contractor for
repair is missing one or more sras and the sra is not a separately inducted item. Contractor replacement of MOI sras is not included in the contract price. The contractor is responsible for supplying all parts and material necessary to perform the required
repairs unless parts or material are specifically identified as government furnished material (GFM). All parts and material used in performance of this contract shall be in accordance with the latest approved revision of applicable drawings and specifications. Purchased parts and material shall be inspected by the contractor upon receipt at the contractors facility to ensure conformance with all requirements of the applicable drawings and specifications. Government inspection shall be in accordance with FAR ****, inspection of supplies fixed-price. Acceptance testing shall be conducted under the surveillance of the DCMA QAR. The contractor shall only tender for acceptance those items that conform to the requirements of this contract. The government reserves the right to inspect or test any supplies or services that have been tendered for acceptance. The government may require
repair or replacement of nonconforming supplies or reperformance of nonconforming services at no increase in contract price. Changes in the terms and conditions of this contract may be made only by written agreement of the parties. This contract is subject to 41 U. S. C. chapter 71, contract disputes. The contractor shall proceed diligently with performance of this contract, pending final resolution of any dispute arising under the contract.
