Security privacy controls do not apply. The purchase shall consist of design services, purchase of hardware, delivery, and installation. Installation shall occur in specific
rooms of building 1. Bariatric lifts with a minimum 880 lb capacity are required for certain
rooms. Training will be provided for nursing personnel and biomedical staff. Delivery and installation will be scheduled with the COR. The contractor warrants that the items will be free from defects for one year. Phone response to warranty issues within 1 hour and onsite response within 24 hours is required. The government reserves the right to inspect or test any supplies or services. Changes in the terms and conditions of this contract may be made only by written agreement of the parties. This contract is subject to 41 U. S. C. chapter 71, contract disputes. The contractor shall be liable for default unless nonperformance is caused by an occurrence beyond the reasonable control of the contractor. Invoices must include specific information. Payment will be made in accordance with the prompt payment act. The contract price includes all applicable taxes and duties. The government reserves the right to terminate this contract for its sole convenience. The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, executive orders, rules, and regulations. The contractor must be registered in SAM. Quotes must show the solicitation number, time specified for receipt, name, address, and telephone number of the offeror, technical description of the items, terms of any express warranty, price, and any discount terms. The offeror agrees to hold the prices firm for 30 calendar days. Product samples shall be submitted at no expense to the government. The government may issue a purchase order to one or more offerors. The government reserves the right to reject any or all quotes. The GSA index of federal specifications, standards, and commercial item descriptions, FPMR part ****, and copies of specifications, standards, and commercial item descriptions cited in this solicitation may be obtained for a fee. Most unclassified defense specifications and standards may be downloaded from the ASSIST websites. Nongovernment voluntary standards must be obtained from the organization responsible for their preparation, publication, or maintenance.
