The St. John the Baptist Parish Purchasing Procurement Department is seeking qualified firms to prepare a master plan for the Manchac
Greenway. The closing date for submittals is June 6, 2025, at 9:45 a. m. local time. Submittals must be delivered to the receptionist at the St. John the Baptist Parish government complex or submitted electronically via www. ***. *. * RFQ package includes various requirements, including a signature page, general terms and conditions, past criminal convictions attestation, nonsolicitation and unemployment affidavit, corporate resolution or certificate of authority, certificate regarding debarment, everify affidavit, scope of work, selection scoring criteria, and insurance requirements. The parish reserves the right to request additional information to clarify submittals. Questions and comments must be submitted by May 30, 2025, at 10:00 a. m. local time. The successful respondent must demonstrate experience in developing master plans, including those specific to
greenways, recreation, coastal restoration, etc. The project timeline includes developing a draft master plan (6 months), conducting public outreach (9 months), and developing a final master plan (12 months). Evaluation criteria include key personnel qualifications, relevant experience, understanding of project familiarity, agency project experience, and current workload. The contract will be effective for two years beginning July 21, 2025, and may be extended for one additional year upon mutual agreement.
