The Riverside County Purchasing Department is soliciting quotations for the recycling/disposal of
waste tires. Bidders must submit questions online at publicpurchase. com by July 17th, 2025, at 1:30 PM Pacific Time. Quotes must be submitted by July 31st, 2025, at 1:30 PM Pacific Time. The county will collect and store
tires on a temporary basis and deliver them to the awarded bidder's facility. The county does not wish to store more than 20 tons of passenger
tires at any time. The
tires are stored at Lamb Canyon Landfill and Badlands Landfill in 40-yard roll-off containers. The county collects passenger
tires with or without rims from residential landfill customers. The county may haul
tires directly from community tire events and illegal dumping retrieval to the contractor's location. The county estimates the annual tonnage for passenger
tires to be roughly 500 tons per year. All quotations must be submitted in accordance with the standards and specifications contained within this request for quote (RFQ). Completed Exhibits B-C, proof of insurance coverage, Secretary of State registration, current business license, and copy/evidence of bidder's CalRecycle registration and approval as a permitted
waste tire facility and tire program identification number (TPID) code must be included. Late quotations will not be accepted. Quotes submitted to any other county office will be rejected. Bidders found not to be in good standing to do business in the state of California at the time of bid submission may not be considered for award.
