The Office of State Procurement has suspended in-person attendance at public bid openings. Vendors can view the opening online. A mandatory jobsite visit is required. The contractor agrees to indemnify the state for claims arising from the contractor's fault. Evidence of authority to sign and submit bids must be provided. Certification of no federal suspension or debarment is required. Secretary of State registration is required for corporations and limited liability companies for purchase orders and contracts over $25,000. All bid amounts shall be submitted in US dollars. Independent price determination is required.

The project involves structural steel work, including fabrication, erection, and installation. The contractor is required to coordinate structural drawings with other drawings, verify existing conditions, and install fasteners. Steel caps, brackets, hangers, base plates, and bolts exposed to weather must be hot-dipped galvanized. The contractor must provide a base bid allowance of $25,000 for the repair of existing roof trusses. The contractor must use materials and methods in accordance with specified standards and codes. Shop drawings for fabrication and erection of all steel members must be submitted. The contractor must coordinate welding sequence requirements. The general contractor shall include in their base bid an allowance for the amount of 25, 000 to be used at the eors direction for the repair of existing builtup roof trusses, connector plates, webs, and chords. All unused portions of the allowance shall be credited back to the owner upon completion of the repairs.
