Teague ISD is seeking proposals for
property casualty
insurance. Proposals are due by 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Minimum expectations and specifications are available upon request.
Insurance companies must have a best rating of A or better, and be licensed to transact business in Texas. Proposals must include specimen policies, alternate proposals (if any), financial information, and other required documents. The district reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities. The effective date of the program is September 1, 2025. Vendors are responsible for timely delivery of proposals. Complete specimen contracts, interlocal agreements, bylaws, service agreements, reinsurance, excess
insurance, stop loss policies, financial statements, and
insurance policies are requested. Bidders must comply with all applicable
insurance laws of the state of Texas. Proposals will be accepted from municipal joint self-
insurance funds established to serve Texas schools, cities, counties, and other political subdivisions. All prices must be guaranteed for a minimum twelve-month period beginning the effective date. Please specify all fees and commissions. The successful bidder will agree to accept the final adjusted values at the policy anniversary date. Vendors must complete and submit Form ****, a disclosure of interested parties form, to the Texas Ethics Commission. A copy of the completed, signed, and notarized form **** must be included with the proposal response. The district must acknowledge receipt of the filed form **** to the Texas Ethics Commission no later than the 30th day after the date the contract binds all parties to the contract. The winning carriers will be notified as soon as practical after the scheduled July board meeting to be held on August 5, 2025.
