The RFP is for bookstore operations at East Texas A&M University. Proposals are due February 3, 2026, at 3:00 PM Central Time. A pre-proposal conference and site visit are scheduled. The contract term is anticipated to be for five years with an option to renew for an additional five years. The university encourages the use of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs). Questions must be submitted by January 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM Central Time. The selection will be based on competence, knowledge, qualifications, and the reasonableness of the proposed fee. The university will provide utilities, and the vendor will be responsible for additional telecommunication installations. The vendor must provide insurance coverage and a HUB subcontracting plan if subcontractors are used. The contract administrator will handle all issues related to the agreement.
The deadline for submission of proposals is 3:00 p. m. Central Time, February 3, 2026.
Payment of invoices will be made hirty 30 days after receipt of a correct invoice and approval by east texas am university.
The vendor warrants that all goods and services covered by this agreement shall conform to the specifications or other descriptions set forth in this agreement or otherwise furnished or adopted by east texas am university, and shall be merchantable fit for the purpose intended, of best quality and workmanship, and free from all defects.
The university will base its choice on demonstrated competence, knowledge, and qualifications and on the reasonableness of the proposed fee for the services.
Each respondent should submit a proposal in accordance with the requirements of this rfp.
There will be a preproposal conference and a site visit of the existing bookstore.
