Bulloch County - Agency Bids & RFPs

Bidders are responsible for the actual delivery of sealed bids during normal business hours to the Bulloch County Board of Commissioners, 115 North Main Street, Statesboro, Georgia ****.

Payments will be made upon completion of all work and acceptance by the county on invoices submitted and approved by the project manager within 30 thirty days of receipt of invoice.

The contractor shall remedy any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship which appear within a period of one year from the date of completion of the contract and final acceptance of the work by the county unless themanufacturer of the equipment or materials has a warranty for a longer period of time, which warranties shall be assigned by contractor to county.

If awarded, an award will be made to that responsive and responsible bidder or bidders with the most advantageous bid or bids to the county, price and other factors considered.

The bidder must include a minimum of four 4 references for contracts of similar nature.

Should the contractor fail to complete the project within the specified time, the county and the contractor agree that the contractor shall pay to the county the sum of 0 per day as liquidated damages, and not as a penalty, for each calendar day that the project continues beyond the specified completion date.

An onsite visit is recommended but not mandatory.

Proposals will be evaluated and scored using the criteria below: 65 factor: detailed qualifications of the prime consultants company and overall history of delivering civil engineering design services to local governments in georgia, 25 factor detailed cost proposal for the delivery of the phased work approach, 10 factor past work experience providing civil engineering design services and client references. each proposal will be evaluated and scored using the criteria below.
