The voting machines must be distributed to and set up within each and every polling place between the hours of 7:00 a. m. and 8:00 p. m. of the day preceding the election, and must be removed and returned to said warehouse by 8:00 p. m. on the second day following the said election within 48 hours after the closing of the polls, unless required by law to be returned earlier due to a holiday.

Payment will be made to contractor within 30 days of receipt of the white and yellow copies of the draymans invoice, the record of elections, damage report, and reimbursement by contractor for damage, if any.

Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder within ten 10 days of bid opening.

The successful bidder must be in good standing to be awarded a contract.

In the event the secretary of state cancels a contract for cause, that contractor will not be eligible to bid on a future contract for three 3 years in the parish where the contract was canceled.

The contractor shall perform all services necessary to ensure the proper and timely delivery and return of the voting machines.

If a drayman causes damage to a voting machine by his negligence or fault, the cost associated with repair or replacement of the damaged machine will be assessed against the drayman as provided for in the contract.
