Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid Program until 10: 00 AM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Bids will be opened via PennBid and will be made available shortly thereafter at the Borough Office at, 100 South Second Street, Chambersburg, PA ****.

Clarifier Blowdown Upgrades The work includes all material, labor, and equipment necessary to install approximately 500 linear feet of 8inch diameter hdpe pipe in existing plant drain piping consisting of 24, 30 and 36 diameter, approximately 110 linear of buried 8inch diameter pvc pipe, two 2 manholes with frame and cover, modifications to an existing drain manhole to add a frame and cover, and replacement of an existing buried gate valve. The work also includes demolition and modifications to two 2 clarifier valve pits for installation of new piping and valves, magnetic flow meters, electric valve actuators, platforms, ladder access, and electrical demolition and upgrades. The work also includes the demolition of an existing battery backup tower with associated conduit and conductor demolition in the existing operations room along with reconnection to an existing transformer.
