The City of Flint is soliciting sealed bids for decant tank improvements for water pollution control. A mandatory prebid meeting is scheduled for September 30, 2026. Bid submission deadline is October 13, 2026, by 11:00 a. m. EST. All work must be completed within 30 business days after the notice to proceed. The contractor must warrant that all work is free of defects for a period of twelve months. Concrete testing responsibility lies with the contractor.
The mail in hard copy with the original signature signed documents must be received by Tuesday, October 13, 2026, by 11: 00 a. m. est.
The contractor shall expressly represent, warrant and agree that all goods, equipment, material, and fabrication provided or performed on or off city premises relative to this contract will: 1. be free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of twelve 12 months.
In the citys evaluation of proposals, at minimum: cost, serviceability, financial stability, and all requirements set forth in this document shall be considered as selection and award criteria unless otherwise specified.
All prospective bidders must attend the mandatory prebid meeting, failure to do so will result in the rejection of that vendors bid proposal.

Bids not meeting all requirements may be rejected.
if bidderproposal believe that they are aggrieved in connection with the solicitation or award of the purchase order or contract, they may protest the action to the city as outlined in flint city charter section ****.
