Entire Official Bid Document and Bid Bond ( if required) should be combined as one PDF and uploaded The major work items for the Mount Sterling Landfill Capping project include: existing fence and gate removal, stripping and stockpiling topsoil, earthwork grading for cap, installation of compacted earthen material for cap, installation of non- woven geotextile, installation of topsoil on cap, placement of crushed stone, new fence and gate installation, placement of Class II channel lining, and revegetation in order to cap the area of existing waste.

Entire Official Bid Document and Bid Bond ( if required) should be combined as one PDF and uploaded The major work items for the Central KY Landfill Closure project include: stripping and stockpiling vegetative cover material, earthwork grading for cap, installation of compacted earthen material for cap, installation of leachate toe drain, installation of geocomposite drainage layer at toe of slope, installation of geocomposite vent strips, installation of 40 mil textured geomembrane ( LLDPE), install leachate cleanout and active gas well boots, install passive gas well vents and boots, placement of 24- inch cap vegetative cover soil, cap revegetation, install erosion control wattles, and grade and gravel existing perimeter road, include offsite borrow area with soil erosion and sediment control and provide riprap channel lining as alternate bid items in order to cap the remaining area of the landfill existing waste.
