Sealed bids are invited for termite treatment services for various Jefferson County buildings. The scope includes treatment for subterranean and Formosan termites, application of soil termiticide and/or bait stations, and use of detection equipment. A pre-bid conference and walkthrough is scheduled for July 9, 2026. Questions are due by July 17, 2026. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM CT on August 5, 2026. The contract term is one year with an option to renew for four additional years. A one-year warranty is required, with an option for up to four additional years. Contractors must be licensed by the Texas Structural Pest Control Service. Vendor registration with SAM is required. Form **** (Certificate of Interested Parties) submission is required for non-exempt bidders.
Bids must be received by 11:00 AM CT on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
Jefferson County will pay original invoices that clearly itemize goods and/or services provided. Invoices must indicate Jefferson County, the delivery address, and the applicable purchase order number. Invoices are to be submitted to the Jefferson County Auditing Department.
Each treated building and/or related structure shall be guaranteed for a period of one (1) year after initial treatment with an industry-standard warranty. Warranty for up to an additional four (4) years may be offered by the contractor.
Individuals performing treatment must be licensed to perform termite work by the Structural Pest Control Service, Texas Department of Agriculture. The selected contractor shall have an organization predominantly and regularly engaged in the performance of the majority of work presented in this IFB. Proof of structural pest control licensing, specifically for termite control, will be required for the contractor and any employee performing work. Contractor must provide documentation they are a certified Sentricon Specialist.
Any person who fails to file the required certification shall be subject to a civil penalty of not less than $10,000 and not more than $100,000 for each such failure.
There will be a pre-bid conference and walkthrough at 2:00 PM CST on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Jefferson County Courthouse Maintenance Department, **** Pearl Street Basement, Beaumont, TX ****.
All protests should be coordinated through the Purchasing Office prior to award recommendation to Commissioners Court.
Failure to return and/or complete all required documentation will result in a response being declared as nonresponsive. Late bids will not be accepted. Failure to comply or attempts to edit debarment/suspension language may disqualify your bid.
